Seminary Baptist Church Kindergarten (SBCK) is an outreach ministry of Seminary Baptist Church. We are a private, non-profit school, fully accredited by the Midsouth Association of Independent Schools. We employ certified teachers in all age groups.
SBCK provides weekly childcare for children 2 years to 5 years of age. Educational instruction is available from 8:00 am – 11:30 am. Child drop-off begins at 7:10 am. Morning pick up is as follows: K2 and K3 – 11:10 am; K4 – 11:20 am; K5 – 11:30 am. After care for the 2022/2023 school year will be 11:30 am – 6:00 pm.
CURRICULUM
Teaching the A Beka curriculum provides the children a strong foundation in Bible, reading, writing, and math. We believe that a Christian-based, early-childhood education will enable students to become productive and well-adjusted individuals. Our classes use a hands-on center based instructional method. All ages take part in Art, Music, and Physical Education classes. K4 and K5 use tablets for instruction in the classroom. We plan to begin computer classes in the next year for K3, K4, and K5.
