"And he said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
Matthew 22:37-39 (ESV)
When: February 17-19, 2017
Where: Covington-Jeff Davis Baptist Associational Building
What: A weekend for students to worship God with other students, grow in His Word, and serve their community!
We come together at 5:00 PM to have personal, in-depth Bible Studies. Join one of our D6 groups, and you'll experience intense discipleship and peer accountablitiy. We learn what it means to follow Christ with your mind, body, and soul!
At 6:15 PM on Wednesday nights, we meet to praise and worship the Name of Jesus Christ.
Anchor University is a hands-on, personal way of growing in your knowledge and devotion to Jesus Christ. The prgram helps students understand the basics of personal quiet time, Bible study, memorization, devotion, and service. Each activity builds credit hours, and those who participate will be rewarded with a fun trip at the end of the year. If you would like to become a student of Anchor University, please see Colby!
OUTSIDE MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
The love Christ has for us is overwhelming, and He asks us to share this love with those around us. We frequently minister to the community around us by meeting not only their physical needs, but their spritiual needs as well.
"HOW CAN I JOIN?"
If you would like to join God's work in the Student Minstry, simply attend one of our many services. Everyone is welcome to attend any of our services. If you don't have a Bible, we would be happy to let you use one while you are here.
You can also register here to help us know more about you and how you'd like to grow with us at Seminary Baptist Ch.
"I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS?"
Christ tells us, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" John 14:6. Life can be very difficult, and we often struggle with pain or doubts. If you have any questions about faith, salvation, or the truth of Christianity, feel free to contact or email us. The contact information for the Student Pastor is listed below.
We are called to lift each other up in prayer (James 5:13-18), and if you have anything that in your life or your families life that needs prayer, please email us your prayer request.
