I am certain that everyone reading this blog today is fully aware of the term “APP”. It has been said that there is an “APP” for everything. I know that there are thousands of “APPS” out there but I am only aware of one provider who truly has an “APP” for everything. That provider just happens to be our Creator, the God of the Universe, our heavenly Father. Once you have logged into His APP store by way of a personal relationship with His only begotten Son, Jesus, you will be amazed at what you will find to be true.
God’s Word is the source of all truth. It is in His word that we are introduced to our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ who states, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6 NKJV) God’s word is the foundation of all that we are as the people of God. We as His children are saved by grace, through faith, (Eph. 2:8) and this faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. (Rom. 10:17)
With this in mind, it is imperative that we, the children of God become totally reliant upon the Word of God in our everyday lives. We must spend time in His word. We must seek the leadership of His Holy Spirit to guide us, direct us, and to teach us the truths that lie within His word. Paul reminds the Thessalonians, “For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.” (1 Thess. 2:13)
Let us remember that within God’s Word there is an “APP” for every situation that we will face in life. May we be found faithfully applying God’s Word to our lives so that we can know of His power and might in and through our lives.
May the word of Christ dwell richly among us as the people of God.
